Winter atmosphere, spa time and personal hospitality
With just 31 rooms, Evident Hotel Prägant is a personal retreat for winter days in Bad Kleinkirchheim. The Kaiserburgbahn and Thermal Römerbad are directly opposite, so the route from breakfast to the slopes – and from the last run to relaxation – is pleasantly short. After skiing, winter hiking or cross-country skiing, unwind in our approximately 1,000 m² Schmetterlings SPA with heated indoor and outdoor pool, relaxation rooms and panoramic saunas. The sauna landscape is reserved for guests aged 16 and over. The Bad Kleinkirchheim region offers the following for your winter holiday in Austria:
Skiing: 103 kilometres of well-prepared pistes, 24 ski lifts and cable cars, five access points to the ski resort without long queues – the ski resort Bad Kleinkirchheim / St. Oswald promises wonderful, varied skiing fun with a breathtaking panoramic view over the southern alpine world.
Cross-country skiing: the 8-kilometre-long and 6-metre-wide Römerloipe trail is easy to reach from the hotel. From mid-December until spring, you can glide along the two parallel tracks in the breathtaking landscape in a leisurely manner or else speed up along the skating track in the middle. If there is sufficient snow, the trail reaches a length of 42 kilometres.
Winter hiking: Discover the variety of the Nockberge on six selected, well-signposted and cleared winter hiking paths with a total length of more than 60 kilometres. For winter hikers, the cable cars offer an advantageous rate for peak and valley rides.
Ski touring: 29 varied ski touring routes around Bad Kleinkirchheim offer you peace and quiet while ascending in the powder snow, an exceptional mountain panorama at the peak and pure enjoyment with the concluding descent through the pristine slopes of the Nockberge. From a safe introductory tour with a descent down the piste to a challenging day tour for experienced ski tourers, every option is available.
Snowtubing: Opposite the Hotel Prägant, at the Kaiserburg valley station, you can whizz over the snow free of charge with a valid ski pass on inflated rubber tyres.
Horse-drawn sled ride: is there anything more romantic than to be huddled closely in a warm blanket, listening to the huffing of the horses and watching the picturesque and snowy nature all around at one horse-drwan sleigh? A horse-drawn sled ride is perfect for being enchanted by a romantic ambience.
Thermal spas: whether as a reward after an active day or as a time out from everyday life. In Bad Kleinkirchheim, Austria you will find two thermal spas to ease the muscles, to relax and get away from it all. The Römerbad thermal spa boasts incomparable sauna and wellness facilities with 13 saunas on three levels, while the family and health thermal spa St. Kathrein has the largest water surface of all Carinthian thermal spas along with an 86-metre-long slide.

Booking, availability and handling are provided through the hotel in accordance with the mountain railways’ terms and conditions.

Receive a 30% reduction on ski passes of three days or more. One 4-hour admission to the thermal baths at Thermal Römerbad is also included; the sauna is available at an additional charge.
The €1 ski pass for children
9 January–5 March 2027
When one full-paying adult buys a ski pass, one eligible child up to 11.99 years receives the corresponding pass at the family rate: six days for €6, seven to twelve days for €12, or thirteen days and more for €18.
The offers cannot be combined with one another and are subject to availability and the conditions of the Bad Kleinkirchheim mountain railways. They are not automatically included in the room rate. Please contact us for booking and handling through the hotel.
