The Carinthian Nockberge offer everything that delights biking enthusiasts: undulating peaks, mountain meadows, trails, steep terrain, all including a fabulous view of the southern alpine world as far as the crystal clear Carinthian lakes. Its 750 kilometres offer something suitable for everyone, from beginners to professionals, totalling 2300 altitude metres of downhill and over 1000 altitude metres of uphill.

Those who would prefer downhill to uphill can be chauffeured conveniently to the peak by the Bad Kleinkirchheim cable cars with their bikes. If you do not want to cycle off independently, you can choose one of the options at the Krainer competence centre: introductory tours, technique workshops, half-day and full-day tours for all ability levels, as well as attractive bike packages. The Nockbike map available at tourism offices, at the sports school and at the reception provides perfect map material.

On the peaks of the Nockberge: exciting tours for freerider

Challenging freeride tours with exciting trails lead you over the 2000-metre-high peaks of the Nockberge. Reaching the peak by bike is an absolute rarity, but in the undulating mountains bikers can experience the breathtaking panorama of the Carinthian world of mountains and lakes from high above. The trails have not been developed artificially but are along natural paths. Get to know the five unique nature single trails and combine the various bike routes with the highlight of the Bad Kleinkirchheim bike region.

Europe's longest Flow Country Trail

Along over 15 kilometres, with an average gradient of 8%, the trail amidst a fabulous nature setting meanders from the Kaiserburg peak station to the Kaiserburg valley station. The gravel trail descending around 1000 altitude metres awaits you with steep curves, drops, bumps and rollers. Biking fun for everyone, as the biker decides on their acceleration into the individual steep curves themselves.

In addition, many rest and relaxation places are available along the way for a little break, offering safe use for both beginners and the more advanced. The open chalets along the route provide culinary highlights with a view over the Carinthian mountain world.

But that is not all: at the valley station of the Kaiserburg cable car, a bike park of around 1000m² awaits you, along with training flow trails and a pump track!
